FCBC

The FCB consultants will conduct and be responsible for implementing all activities outlined in component B of the Project, in particular: (i) preparing and providing operational and technical training to DWASA staff; (ii) providing corporate financial planning, financial reforms, and management advisory assistance to DWASA; and (iii) conducting public awareness and demand control, as well as resettlement implementation activities.

  • The deadline for submission of RFPs was upto 14:00 hrs of 26/06/2008. By that period, 2 (Two) firms submitted the RFPs. Each proposal for the Financial and Capacity Building Consultancy has 2 (two) parts. They are: Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. In a scale of 100%, under the given QCBS method, the weightage shall be Technical Proposal 80% (eighty percent) and financial proposal 20% (twenty percent). All the two firms were qualified technically as they secure more than the qualifying mark 750.

  • The public opening was held on November 03, 2008, Monday in presence of the authorized representatives of the firms presided over by Managing Director of Dhaka WASA. The result of combined evaluation is as follows:

  • CCGP approved the proposal on 12 May 2009
  • Prime Minister approved the proposal on 27 May 2009

  • Consultant mobilization starts on 12 July 2009
