The Project performance monitoring and evaluation (PPME) consultants will assist DWASA with conducting project performance monitoring
In addition, ADB provide a grant ADTA: BAN-7001 Management Support for Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority to support institutional development of DWASA as well as general sector reform. Coordination among consulting services is critical for effective implementation of the services and the Team Leader of the DMC will assist PMU in overall coordination of all consulting services.
Proposed man-month for Consultancy services are as follows:
o Design & management Consultants 847 mm
o Financial & capacity building Consultants 470 mm
o Project performance monitoring consultants 42 mm

- The deadline for submission of RFPs was upto 14:00 hrs of 26/07/2008. By that period, 4 (Four) firms submitted the RFPs. Each proposal for the Project Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Consultancy has 2 (two) parts. They are: Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. In a scale of 100%, under the given QCBS method, the weightage shall be Technical Proposal 80% (eighty percent) and financial proposal 20% (twenty percent). Among the four firms, two were qualified technically as they secure more than the qualifying mark 750.
- The public opening was held on December 23, 2008, Tuesday in presence of the authorized representatives of the firms presided over by Managing Director of Dhaka WASA. The result of combined evaluation is as follows:

- The contract negotiation was held on 11 March’09. A draft contract has been signed between Operations Research Group Pvt. Ltd. India in association Sodev Consult, Bangladesh and Dhaka WASA on 15 March’09.
- Dhaka WASA Board endorsed the contract on 25 June’2009
